Quinta de São Sebastião
The Quinta de S. Sebastião constitute a range of excellence. Teeming with glamour. soft, intense and with extreme elegance. they fully represent a set of aromas and flavors very characteristic of this region’s terroir. Originated from a mediterranean but strongly influenced by the Atlantic, due to our vineyard’s proximity to the sea. Red wines produced from national grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Sousão and Tinta Roriz. and international grape varieties as Merlot and Syrah. and they have se veral months of aging in French oak barrels. The white belongs to Arinto, Cercial and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties and the rose to Touriga Nacional and Merlot.

Grapes of several varieties with predominance of Merlot and Touriga Nacional produced in the coolest and highest altitude environments. Grapes harvested early in order to maintain all their freshness and aromatic component. Fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks followed by fermentation and aging in used French oak barrels for 6 months, undergoing bâtonnage during the first months. Bottling is performed directly from the barrel.
